The wines reflect the special diversity of the Canberra vineyards from highly structured reds to crisp whites. Come and experience the rich, deep "La Stupenda" Sparkling Shiraz or perhaps the crisp yet fruity "Mardi Gras" Gewurtztraminer.

Shepherds Run Restaurant and Function Centre is the perfect location for your private function or work meeting/conference.  Feel like you're getting away from it all, yet you're only minutes from town.

Special events occur throughout the year including Christmas, the Canberra District Wine Harvest Festival, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas in July and Italian cooking classes.

Our restaurant is fully air-conditioned and we have a beautiful crackling fire all winter.  Come for a tipple and relax.

Christmas In July is on again!!  Come for a traditional Christmas dinner right in the middle of winter.  Saturday 14 July from 6:00pm.

Groups of 10 people or more (including groups for wine tasting) and coaches must book.

Where are we?

Just 20 minutes from the Canberra CBD at 344 Norton Rd Wamboin - on the way to the historic village of Bungendore. Lots of free parking for private vehicles and coaches.
